Things to remember for Spirit Week (next week) 

from Mr. McKnight: 

 

__MCE_ITEM____MCE_ITEM__1.  If your lab teacher wants you to be in uniform while in the lab that week, you will have to be in uniform. No questions asked. You can change for academics.

__MCE_ITEM____MCE_ITEM__2.  Adam Sandler Day – students are allowed to wear shorts that day as long as they are school appropriate.

__MCE_ITEM____MCE_ITEM__3.  No face masks or face paintings 

__MCE_ITEM____MCE_ITEM__4.  There is no cost to participate.

 

 

 

“Fairborn and Beavercreek Students, you should have received Federal Impact Aid Surveys in lab. Please complete the forms and return to the main office ASAP.”

 

Students must report to the cafeteria during their designated lunch times. No student is allowed to leave the lunch room without a pass from a teacher or administrative approval. Students are not permitted to hang out in the Student Lounge, break out rooms, or conference rooms during their lunch times

 

 

 

If you need to take a medication at GCCC, you are required to have a prescription from your doctor AND provide the school nurse with the medication. This includes Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, etc. GCCC does not provide students with any medications. This may be different from your home school so check in with the school nurse if you have any questions or you need the form! 

 

                       

                       

Students are not permitted to wear shorts/ hoodies/leggings or sweatpants/ joggers/ track pants (except exercise science) or jeans with holes in them!

Any STUDENT not in proper 2024-2025 GCCC uniform must report to room 2317 to borrow a uniform either before school or at lunch.

Have you heard? FHS has a weekly Bible study club called Christians in Action. We would love to have you join us for games, snacks, fellowship, and most importantly Jesus! We meet every Tuesday in Mrs. Goodman's room 2135 from 2:10 to 3.

 

Attention Seniors! Don't forget to order your Senior hoodie or crewneck! The order form can be found in your Senior Packet or on the Class of 2025 Google Classroom. All orders should be given to Mrs. Zink in Room 2107 or to one of the class officers.

 

Seniors - have you submitted your Toddler Picture to Mrs. Zink? You can email it to the senior class email or give it to Mrs. Zink to be scanned. 

Weight training will take place here at FHS in the Skyhawk Training Facility has begun and starts at 2:30.

Greeneview Students:

Juniors and Seniors attending the The DC trip. The final payment is due Thursday, Oct. 31st. There is a MANDATORY student and parent trip meeting on Thursday, November 7th at 6pm in the library. If you are not attending the trip, but made the deposit, you must let Mr. Thompson know ASAP that you will not be attending.

The middle and high school combined choir concert is Thursday, October 24th at 7:00pm.

 

Attention high school Anglers! If you have a passion for the great sport of bass fishing, the Ohio B.A.S.S. Nation now has a way for you to compete at the State Level, with the potential to earn scholarship funds, and a path to the National Stage! B.A.S.S. has created a “Community Club” for all High School anglers who currently attend a High School in the State of Ohio! Joining this Community Club allows all members to compete in different events. 

 

Due to a scheduling conflict with the venue, the date for Greeneview's prom has been moved up one week. It is now Saturday April 26th. It will still be held at the Schindler Banquet Center in Xenia.

Xenia Students: 

 

Hola, amigos! The Spanish Club will be meeting on Monday, October 28 after school in Señora Scott's room. We will be placing orders for our cool t-shirts, playing games for El Día de Los Muertos and of course we will be having snacks! So, come join the fiesta!!! 

 

Attention all staff and students, the Xenia Boys & Xenia Girls Basketball teams need you! The programs have partnered up with AIA Athletes in Action for their Drive for Warmth this month. They are seeking donations of socks and winter hats and the items are being collected in a bin outside of the Main Office. If you are able, please help by donating new socks and hats by October 28th in the bin. Thank you! 

 

Juniors and Seniors!   Don't miss out on the highlight of the year! Sign up to participate in powder puff! We need players, cheerleaders and coaches for the highly anticipated game on November 14th. Fill out the form that's posted in your class' Google Classroom. Who will win? The juniors or the seniors? Make sure you sign up to participate so your class can take home the trophy!

 

 

 

On Thursdays we wear Sprouts! Come join your XHS Garden Club today in Mrs. Allen's room B102. We are still painting flower pots, so come and paint with us this Thursday! Oh, and don't forget to visit the Garden Club Store in Mrs. Allen's room for all of your sticker and Sprout needs!

 

If you are interested in playing baseball in the spring, please add baseball as a sport in your Final Forms profile as soon as possible so you are getting communications. We will be starting fall workouts. Contact coach Salyers with questions.

 

 

 

 

 

Yellow Springs Students:

Check out the posters around the school about the women's supply drive for Lacey Longshaw and Alayna Hamilton's Senior Project! Don't forget to drop off any donations in the box outside of the front office or you can feel free to give them directly to Alayna or Lacey. 

It's time for the most unique and burly club at YSHS to get started for this year join the School Forest Club! New and old members are always welcome!

D&D Club will meet on Thursdays after school until 5:30pm in Ms. Sellar’s Room, Room 303. Anyone interested is welcome to attend!
